Learning to Work have developed this Work Ready Conference to introduce students to some of the skills, attributes and expectations of the world of work along with an opportunity to inspire and motivate them about certain career paths, some of which they possibly hadn’t considered or maybe even heard of!
Throughout the day students will participate in a number of activities and engage with a range of businesses. Business Ambassadors needed for Speed Networking, Women in Industry, an enterprise game and CV writing prep.

Mission Statement
By providing a link between businesses and schools, Learning to Work creates opportunities to raise aspirations and develop the skills of today’s young people and have been providing this quality service to the world of education and business in the local area for over 20 years.
Description
We currently support over 30,000 children in the local area running curriculum events to assist local schools. The local area being Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Slough Borough. We reach out to support both Primary and Secondary education therefore age 4-19yrs. We look for corporate membership and school membership to fund the charitable organisation and have been running successfully for over two decades. We also survive off the generous volunteering offered by both individuals and corporations.
