Interfaith Works assists our neighbors in crisis throughout Montgomery County. We provide various opportunities for individuals and organizations, and are in need of volunteers who are looking to dedicate their time and share their talents with the community. Activities include Bingo and game nights, meal preparation and serving, bagged lunches, supply drives, tutoring, teaching classes/skills, research, administrative assistants, mentoring, leadership activities, birthday events, movie nights, ice cream/hot chocolate and dessert socials, landscaping and gardening, sorting and organizing, exercising with clients, painting, and Days of Service. Through these activities, we promote the enhancement of social and coordination skills, thus addressing social and emotional learning core competencies. If you would like additional information regarding how to participate in these projects, please contact our Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator.
Every volunteer is required to complete an application and a brief interview prior to being assigned to this opportunity. Here is the link to our online application form: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1190255427
