The Community Van driver operates a nine-passenger van for 4 - 8 hours as available. Residents sign up before the date; they provide time and destination. The volunteer picks up the van from Metro, drives to Sage Grove, picks up residents and transports them to locations, then back to Sage Grove. All sites are within sixty miles of Kalamazoo. The driver is required to attend training provided through Metro and complete an orientation/background check with Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. Our residents would love to meet you and benefit from your skills.
We have infection control policies because of COVID-19. These are: wearing mask, temperature checks, COVID questionnaire, social distancing, and hand hygiene.
