Help eligible immigrants apply to become citizens! No foreign language skills or immigration experience required. This day-long workshop will walk applicants through the process of filling out the naturalization application.
Attorney volunteers conduct individual legal review of applicant's cases, and are required to sign both the N-400 application and a G-28 Notice of Entry of Appearance. If you are unable to sign these forms, please request to volunteer as a non-attorney instead (link below). Mandatory training for first-time volunteers is provided at the first workshop attended.
A few different opportunities are available for our non-attorney volunteers, from registering all incoming attendees, to working one-on-one with attendees to fill their applications, to helping staff direct and track all attendees.
Click the link below to sign up to join our email distribution list. You will receive an email a few weeks out from each workshop with a call for volunteers, to which you can RSVP at that time if you'd like to attend.
Mark your calendars for these future workshops:
Saturday, August 3 in Sterling
Friday, September 13 in Alexandria
Saturday, October 26 in Arlington
Friday, December 6 - location TBD
