The Deputy Operating Officer of Southeast Children's Fund is in need of a highly qualified, service oriented administrative assistant. The volunteer would provide up to 20 hours of support. Some of the responsibilities include: assisting in creating plans to strengthen the organization, maintain the calendar and schedule events for this member of the leadership team, assist with correspondence, email, traditional mail and telephone contacts and other activities to support the work of the Deputy Operating Officer.

Southeast Children's Fund is located in the southeast section of Washington, DC. The residents of the neighborhood are resilient and determined to overcome some significant challenges in their lives. Southeast Children's Fund provides high quality, early care and education services to young children, 6 weeks to 5 years old, to make sure they receive the care and education necesssary to have the foundation they deserve to succeed in school and life.

Southeast Children's Fund offers professional development courses and activities to individuals who are interested in entering the field of Early Care and Education, including the Child Development Associatae (CDA) course.
