Culver Palms Meals on Wheels needs your help to provide meals to homebound people. We have 11 routes, and the area we deliver to covers from Pico Boulevard to LAX and La Cienega Boulevard to the coast. The delivery area includes Culver City, Marina Del Rey, Del Rey, Mar Vista, Marina Peninsula, Playa Del Rey, Venice, Westchester, Cheviot Hills, Crestview, Palms, South Robertson, Westside Village, and parts of West LA. A team of two consisting of a driver and an assistant deliver the meals to our seniors. Volunteers arrive at our office at 10:30 am and usually finish by 12:30 pm. Volunteer opportunities exist for regular volunteers (commit to a route one day per week) or substitute drivers (on-call basis). Drivers and assistants must be vaccinated. All drivers must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. VOLUNTEER POSITION ONLY

Mission Statement
Culver Palms Meals on Wheels is a movement of neighbors volunteering to deliver healthy and delicious meals to those who cannot prepare their food at home. We serve senior citizens, people with physical or cognitive disabilities, and those who need help during a specific medical situation like recovering from surgery.
Description
We also provide meal support for seniors on fixed incomes who struggle to pay for housing, medicine, and food. We take our community commitment seriously as a provider of nourishment and support services. Our focus is on the health, well-being, and independence of our clients.
