Are you looking to make a difference in a youth's life? A homeless youth needs your help! Homeless families are the fastest-growing segment of the homeless population in California. There are an estimated 300,000 homeless youth in the state of California. Due to their transient lifestyles, many of these youth miss months of school at a time. Help these kids get back on track by tutoring a student one hour a week. Education is key to breaking the cycle of homelessness. To find out how to become a volunteer tutor, go to www.SchoolonWheels.org and fill out a volunteer application. It will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life!
