Catholic Community Services is looking for dedicated volunteers who would be willing to teach newly arrived refugees how to use the public bus system. This would include boarding the bus, reading the bus map, and reloading a bus pass. Refugees rely on the public bus as their sole form of transportation and learning the bus system is imperative to self-sufficiency. Please help a refugee learn to be more self-reliant today.

Refugees are among the world's most vulnerable and displaced people. They are individuals and families that were forced out of their homeland due to persecution or the well-founded fear of persecution for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership in a social group or political opinion.
Our program emphasizes attaining self-sufficiency by learning English and obtaining employment of refugees.
