The Justice for Montanans AmeriCorps members will provide legal resource information to consumers by telephone, mail, and outreach. Additionally, the members will learn consumer protection investigative techniques, coordinate remedies with staff and attorneys, and help plan and implement statewide trainings covering all OCPVS programs. The members will participate in the execution of a variety of programs such as End of Life Registry, Hope Cards, Keep My Montana Home, address confidentiality, and class action lawsuits. Members will receive in-depth training on various legal topics and skills for working with diverse clients. OCPVS members will be based out of Helena.
