Volunteers for the Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital Auxiliary find that they have multiple opportunities and experiences in various service areas such as Hazel's Thrift Shop, Madelyn's Gift Shop, Reception, Escort, Skilled Nursing Facilities & the Women's Center Lobby.

Due to the income supplied by Hazel's Thrift Shop & Madelyn's Gift Shop, the HHMH Auxiliary enjoy a unique opportunity to underwrite selected projects such as annual scholarships and purchases of special hospital equipment, supplies, employee education and other enhancements.
COVID-19 protocols included but not limited to: mask wearing, vaccine required, protective gear & screens provided, social distance when applicable.

Mission Statement
The primary purpose of this organization is to promote the welfare of the Hazel Hawkins Hospitals and their patients through ways and means proposed or approved by the governing body of the acute care and convalescent hospitals.
Description
The purpose of the Auxiliary shall include (but need not be limited to) the following:
a.) Providing volunteer services to patients and to the Hospitals.
b.) Furthering understanding of and good will for the Hospitals through a year-long emphasis culminating annually in an observance of National Volunteer Week.
c.) Underwriting selected projects such as the annual scholarship award program and purchases of hospital equipment, supplies, and other enhancements.
