The Chapter Coordinator is a "People Person" who is the Friend to Friend contact in their area. The Director interacts with this person who is the contact between each volunteer and the local Nursing Homes and Assisted Living facilities (i.e. Shoreline, Tacoma, Puyallup, Renton, etc). The Coordinator stays in contact with the Activity Director of each facility in their area, accompanies new volunteers to the facility for orientation, informs each volunteer of what to expect, and makes facility staff person aware that the volunteer will visit only one resident. Interacts with people of all ages, creeds and backgrounds.
Participates as an Advisory Council member. Council meets the third Wednesday of the month at 12 noon at Wesley Homes in Des Moines WA. Call Marilyn at 1-888-FTF-7818 for more information.
