Southeast Children's Fund, located in one of the most underserved areas of Washington, DC seeks a volunteer to assist in proofreading grant proposals, assist with the development and ongoing improvement of a fundraising/development plan and in raising $20 million dollars to renovate three buidlings to provide state of the art learning environments for young children, youth and adults in this area the city.

Southeast Children's Fund is located in the southeast section of Washington, DC. The residents of the neighborhood are resilient and determined to overcome some significant challenges in their lives. Southeast Children's Fund provides high quality, early care and education services to young children, 6 weeks to 5 years old, to make sure they receive the care and education necesssary to have the foundation they deserve to succeed in school and life.
Southeast Children's Fund offers professional development courses and activities to individuals who are interested in entering the field of Early Care and Education, including the Child Development Associatae (CDA) course.
