Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center

Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center offers equine assisted programming for persons with cognitive, physical, emotional, and behavioral disabilities in White, Tippecanoe, and the surrounding counties.

Tuition for classes covers approximately 30% of the cost of offering programming. The rest of the funds needed come from donations and fund raising efforts. We currently are looking for interested individuals to help us organize two Lafayette area events.

If you would love to support services for persons with disabilities while meeting new people, working with a great group, and planning special events we are your organization!

Mission Statement

Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center provides equine assisted programs for persons with physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities. Our mission is to facilitate the healing of body and spirit through the interaction between humans and horses.


While most of our volunteers choose to work directly with our very special riders and horses, other volunteer opportunities are also available.
