Court Monitoring Data Entry Volunteer Job Description
Position Title: Court Monitoring Data Entry Volunteer
Reports To: Court Monitoring Project Specialist
Purpose/Goal of Position: To support the MADD Texas State Court Monitoring program by assisting with data entry assistance and other clerical duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills Needed
- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality as required and appropriate
Duties and Responsibilities
The Court Monitoring Data Entry Volunteer will:
- Keep track of received data and documents
- Input collected data into an electronic spreadsheet or database
- Ensure that all data is entered accurately
- Review all information entered and make corrections where necessary
- Maintain confidentiality of all data entered
- Perform other clerical duties as required
Qualifications Needed:
- Detail oriented and committed to meeting deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of database programs an asset
Time Period
- This position requires a minimum 3 month commitment for an average of 2-3 hours per week during office hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm).
- Weekly work hours will vary, and will depend on timing of organizational commitments and deadlines. # Days/ Hours per week: Negotiable
