Some seniors in our community struggle to remain in their own homes because they need a little essential help with light housekeeping, grocery shopping, or other simple tasks.

But together we can change that. Tap into your care and concern for others and join the WayForward Resources community as a Senior Program - Home Chores volunteer! You can be matched with a local senior and give them a little more peace and stability in their golden years.

To get started, simply enter your info into our interest form found at https://www.wayforwardresources.org/volunteer/help-a-senior-with-light-chores. Within 48 hours, we’ll be in touch with more information including volunteer onboarding steps and access to our easy online volunteer application. Once accepted, we’ll work together to set up your regular volunteer schedule. All needed training and support will be provided.

Description

Food Security

  • Our food pantry is open to all Dane County residents.

Housing Stability
  • Our service area for housing programs includes Middleton, Cross Plains and west Madison.
  • We provide case management, referrals, and housing stability assistance.
  • Our housing stability programs focus on providing critical support to keep families in their homes so they avoid the trauma of homelessness.
