Compassionate, caring men and women needed to provide support to terminally ill patients and their families in a number of ways:
- Friendly visiting, reading, listening to or providing live music, massage therapy, pet therapy, haircuts, manacures, life review, and caregiver relief are just a few ways that you can help.
Also needed are men and women to
- Make weekly phone calls to caregivers and patients, clerical support in our office, crafters to knit, crochet or sew lap blankets, soft pillows, slippers and seasonal gifts and cards for patients.

Description
Remita Health provides end of life care to persons who can no longer benefit from curative treatment. The typical hospice patient has a life expectancy of six months or less. Most receive care at home. Some reside in nursing homes or assisted living. Services are provided by a team of trained professionals-physicians, nurses,counselors,therapists, social workers, aides and volunteers- who provide medical care and support services not only to the patient, but to the patient's family and loved ones.
