In this friendly setting, office support volunteers will assist staff and volunteer department with phone calls, data entry and other miscellaneous clerical tasks. When you volunteer with our hospice you become an important part of our team, and we value your shared time and assistance. No prior experience is necessary. All training is provided.

Description
The VNA Hospice of Philadelphia enables patients with a serious, progressive illness to live at home as comfortably as possible. We also service patients in nursing homes and personal care facilities. The hospice team includes nurses, social workers, home-health aides, volunteers, chaplains, and a bereavement coordinator. Palliative care goes beyond traditional services, providing expert pain management, pastoral care, respite, and counseling to patients and their families.
