Bass Gallery at The Money Museum

Volunteer as a tour guide at the Money Museum. Learn about coins and paper money and educate others. The museum features three galleries exploring different topics, including the new exhibit, "Money of Empire - Elizabeth to Elizabeth". Potential volunteers should have a strong interest in U.S. and world history, a basic knowledge of money, and excellent verbal communication skills.

Tours generally last one hour; volunteers should have a flexible schedule and be willing to give tours on short notice. Most tours are for children, but adult and senior groups are also scheduled. The Money Museum is located at 818 N. Cascade (next to the Fine Arts Center). For more information, email tours@money.org

Description

The ANA Money Museum is looking for docents to lead tours of mostly school age children for field trips. This opportunity is ideal for retired school teachers. Experience or interest in numismatics/coin collecting/history a plus, but not required.
