Opera Singers Initiative (OSI) is a vocal institution that provides emerging opera singers with the skills necessary to build a sustainable and successful career in the arts. Our primary focus is career development, which includes: marketing, finance, fundraising, agent review, industry showcase, performance opportunities, mentoring and career consultation with arts and business professionals. We provide a 12-month New York City OSI Vocal Institute and two-week OSI Vocal Institute Summer Intensive as a part of our comprehensive Institute.

As we are a quickly expanding non-profit organization, we are looking for an awesome, fundraising volunteer to join our team. As a fundraising volunteer, your main responsibility will be generating communications for BOD to potential donors.. If you love the arts, enjoy attending trendy events and are enthusiastic about young, emerging artists we would love to have you on board.

Being an OSI volunteer is an extremely flexible, low time-commitment yet rewarding position. We host about 4 events a year and are looking for a solid team to assist us in all aspects of event planning so that we can deliver an evening-to-remember for our guests and donors. Volunteers have the opportunity to work alongside an enthusiastic and intelligent team of entrepreneurs and artists in addition to attending all the events we host throughout the city.

OSI is currently seeking volunteers with strong leadership skills and a fundraising background. People who are organized, responsible and able to understand the needs surrounding a musical event.
