A Different Breed Animal Rescue

  • 31 people are interested

We are always in need of foster homes for dogs and puppies. Some animals are seniors whose owners have passed away and don't do well in a shelter environment with so many other animals, we have puppies who would be healthier in homes and get socialized until old enough for adoption, pregnant dogs who need a quiet home to give birth, dogs who need some individual attention to become a better candidate for adoption, maybe a dog getting over surgery and needs some healing time. The list goes on and on!

Please contact us if you have room in your home and your life to foster a dog until he or she is adopted. We ask that you bring them to our adopt-a-pets on Saturdays on a regular basis to find them homes faster, and they will be posted on our website as well as petfinder too. The benefit you reap will be the rewarding feeling you get from saving a life and finding a loving home for a formerly homeless dog.

About A Different Breed Animal Rescue

PO Box 600278, Dallas, TX 75360, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to address the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation by focusing on spay/neuter, aggressive outreach and adoptions.

A Different Breed Animal Rescue Adopt-A-Pet events focus on the adoption of homeless animals in the DFW Metroplex area, in association Dallas
City Shelters and with other dog and cat rescue groups in our area. In 2004, in the Dallas area alone over 26,000 homeless pets had to be
euthanized, because there were no available families to adopt them.
Cats and dogs are born faster than they can be adopted.
A Different Breed works works tirelessly to find homes for those pets considered adoptable, and works aggressively to educate the public on
pet sterilization and responsible ownership.
We are a 501C-3 organization and need your donations and your help as volunteers to make this possible.

We'll work with your schedule.
