Pets. We may not always understand them, but we always love them - mostly for their silliness, loyalty, and overall comforting presence. We love them because they bring happiness into our lives and help us get through each day.
The presence of a friendly animal like a dog or cat, if only for a few minutes, can lift some of the strain on patients and families who are going through a difficult time. Those few minutes can sometimes go a long way. These support animals can:
We are currently looking for pet companionship or therapy teams (i.e. Pet Partners, Therapy Dogs International) to join our program. All pets must be up-to-date with all of their shots and vaccinations.

Volunteering during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Volunteers are still able to visit with home patients, as long as the volunteers abide by precaution protocols. We also have volunteers assisting in the office and making crafts for patients.
