Social Media Administrator for Exotic Animal Sanctuary

Ark RAIN Wildlife Sanctuary suffered a tragic loss in November 2010 when an arsonist burned down the sanctuary buildings and the home of Co-Founders Tim and Toni Davies. The fire not only destroyed all the sanctuary's supplies and indoor heated facility, it took the lives of dozens of precious rescued animals, most of which were the animal ambassadors for the sanctuary. The animal ambassadors traveled with the Davies periodically for endangered species animal education programs at school, churches and other venues across the country. This supported the sanctuary for over 15 years. Due to the loss of the animals and near death experience and trauma suffered by both of the Co-Founders, the education programs ceased that devastating day which meant the sanctuary no longer had an income. Ark RAIN has been 100% reliant on our social media sites since the fire to reach new, existing and potential donors to be able to continue helping the 60 surviving animals and other animals in need.

With recent changes, especially on Facebook, it has been increasingly more difficult to reach people with our message. We are looking for volunteers with experience in growing active followers on one or more social media sites to help administrate our pages. We are currently on Facebook, Google Plus, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube and Twitter.
