The German Village Society, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to retaining the character and distinction of the past while creating a thriving and contemporary community in German Village.

Description

German Village is the first recognized historic district in Columbus, Ohio and our entire 233 acres have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. German Village is a vibrant neighborhood positioned in the heart of Columbus. The challenge of preserving the architectural heritage of German Village is the principal concern of the German Village Society, the Non-profit educational organization founded by Frank Fetch in 1960. This Tenacious, imaginative, and dedicated membership organization has been instrumental in while creating a thriving an vital twenty first century community.
