Come join a group of Christian volunteers working toward the same goal! Joshuacord is a non profit focused on raising awareness and support for Christians who are persecuted for their faith across the world. We are located in the Tampa, FL area and are starting to plan our 2nd Joshua 1:9 Freedom 5K taking place in December 2014. You can view details from last year's 5K @ www.joshuacord.org/5k. We are looking for a VolunteerRace Coordinator who has a passion for helping others and is a Christian. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with experience in coordinating 5K run/walk events. The 5K will take place in Tampa, FL in December 2014 so the volunteer hours for this position will increase as we get closer to December. We had an amazing turnout of 200 people last year and would love to make this year a bigger success with your help! Most coordination can take place virtually but we will need local support as race day approaches! We are looking for assistance with the race planning, logistics and more.
