Food Pantry Client Care Specialist, Williamsville,NY
The Mission of The Morlock Foundation is Improving the quality of life by reducing and recovering from trauma. We help families survive with the hope of improving quality of life for families suffering from traumatic experiences. We strive to help as many individuals and families as possible to not only survive, but flourish in the community.

One of the programs we offer is Evangel Food Pantry. The xlarge food pantry is open weekly to assist the needy with groceries Emergency bags of food are also available to help those in urgent need. Serving families in Amherst, Williamsville, Clarence and more. Due to Covid we have had to make lots of changes and have more people than every in need.

Food Pantry Volunteer Positions:

Client Care volunteer:

We are in need of volunteers to work at various positions.

Pickup food and bring to the pantry: Estimated to volunteer 1 to 1 1/2hours for the pickup day
Monday at 5am,
Mondays at 7:45am,
Tuesdays at 5:45am,
Saturday at 5:30am,
Saturdays at 6:45am.
This requires a pickup truck or large vehicle. The volunteer would pickup loading vehicle with donated foods and returning to pantry to unload. Estimated 1 to 1/2 hours for each different pickup and delivery to pantry. When we have a volunteer sign up we will let you know the location. All these pickup locations are within 5-7 minutes of our pantry.

We are in next of people to help load cars with food on mondays and tuesdays between 6:30am and 10:30am/11:30am (outside).

We are in need of people to help fill boxes and packup carts for clients....
We are in need of people who will work with clients as they pickup food while they walk through...
on mondays and tuesdays (inside)mondays and tuesdays between 6:30am and 11:30am.

We are in need of volunteers on Tuesdays to help cleanup and put everything away between 10-12pm

We are in need of a volunteer to do paperwork inside. Tuesdays 6:30am-11:30am
We are in need of a volunteer to do paperwork with clients outside. Mondays 6:30am-10:30am

AND

VISUAL STORYTELLER WANTED: We are in need of volunteers to work in the community to get donations, make contacts, talking about the needs of our pantry and our community. The person that would be working in this position would be our media contact for the food pantry. This person would need to work with our social media manager via phone, email and in person every week or two. This position is at pantry and at home. Getting stories from clients who are picking up included.

Voiceless TPR Rule: (formerly Samantha's Rule) working to make a difference for children (voiceless) to be protected when receiving an order of protection.

AmberLena Kincare: provide kin to care for a child upon need.
