Serving little hurting hearts. A grief support camp for children.
Camp Agape Bereavement Camp for Children
Have you suffered the loss of a loved one? Then your personal experience may be just what a grieving child could benefit from. Our faith-based program supports children 7-12 years of age who have suffered the loss of a loved one. We combine all the fun of a typical summer camp along with group therapy activities that assist the children in their grief process. Our program addresses the needs of the whole child from emotional health, physical fitness, and spiritual aspects of the healing process.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Camp Agape is a non-denominational, Christian-based program that supports children and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The trained staff and volunteers are committed to sharing the belief that through Christ there is HOPE, and will provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to heal from the pain of grief.
Camp Agape is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and provides our service for free to children between seven and twelve years of age who have suffered the loss of a loved one. We pray that each child will come to know that God comforts and heals our hurting hearts, and He will carry us through the despairing times of our lives, just as He has promised!!
Our summer camp program offers all the fun of a typical summer camp including; swimming, horse back riding, archery, etc. Our service also provides group activities which incorporate the use of art, music and play therapies, to assist the children with their bereavement process.
Camp Agape was founded in 2000. We have operated for the last 20 years by volunteers who have willing hearts to help little hurting hearts. Even our licensed counselors and therapists have generously donated their time and talents toward our ministry for grieving children.
