National Volunteer Week 2021 Is Here!
Celebrate with us as we highlight #ArtAsActivism!
A Different Breed Animal Rescue
A Different Breed pulls from local kill shelters to give dogs a second chance of finding a new loving home. We hold various adoption drives through out the North Dallas/Lewisville/Plano/McKinney area.
We need volunteers to help prepare the site for adoptions, help walk dogs, socialize them, clean crates and work with the public to help match the right pets with the right pet parents.
Come help walk the dogs, and give them the love and attention they deserve. It's a fun day for the animals who rarely get out or have human contact.
It is very rewarding when a homeless animal finds a happy new home and YOU have played a part in saving an animals life!

Our mission is to address the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation by focusing on spay/neuter, aggressive outreach and adoptions.
A Different Breed Animal Rescue Adopt-A-Pet events focus on the adoption of homeless animals in the DFW Metroplex area, in association Dallas
City Shelters and with other dog and cat rescue groups in our area. In 2004, in the Dallas area alone over 26,000 homeless pets had to be
euthanized, because there were no available families to adopt them.
Cats and dogs are born faster than they can be adopted.
A Different Breed works works tirelessly to find homes for those pets considered adoptable, and works aggressively to educate the public on
pet sterilization and responsible ownership.
We are a 501C-3 organization and need your donations and your help as volunteers to make this possible.
We'll work with your schedule.
