ORGANIZATION: Military Aviation Museum

Our flying Mosquito Bomber

The Military Aviation Museum is home to one of the world's largest collections of flying vintage military aircraft. Over 65 aircraft from the WW1 and WW2 eras are on display at any one time at a purpose-built airport facility that includes two historic building structures on 130 acres.

The Military Aviation Museum honors the heroes who built, flew, and maintained America's military aircraft. By sharing their stories through exhibitions and events, we promote an understanding of history, science, service, and sacrifice that will inspire and educate visitors of all ages.

The Military Aviation Museum has volunteer opportunities for almost everyone. Share at least one day each month with us in support of museum activities and you’ll be on your way to enjoying the satisfaction which comes from learning about the exhibits, sharing your experiences with other volunteers and guests, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow volunteers and contributing to the safety and success of the museum events and operations.

Military Aviation Museum volunteers serve as greeters, hangar security, docents giving tours, aircraft handlers, educational programming support staff, researchers, carpenters, exhibit builders, and much more.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Military Aviation Museum, please complete the online application here:
