Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers 16 years and older to assist us with grounds maintenance at our main office.

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Weeding beds

Sweeping sidewalks of debris.

Trimming shrubs.

Raking leaves in the fall.

Keeping the yard free of trash.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 145,000 houses around the world, providing more than 625,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. Habitat was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife Linda.
