On the Third Thursday of each month, Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly invites residents from area nursing homes to our facility for lunch and entertainment. Home cooked meals are provided along with a wide variety of entertainment including singers, therapy dogs, naturalists from the park, etc. Our need is for volunteers to provide transportation from area nursing homes to our office and enjoy the afternoon with your old friend before taking them back home to their residence.

Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly is a national, non-profit organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. We offer to people of good will the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and the celebration of life.
Description
We offer our elderly friends opportunities to create new friendships and relationships. Through volunteer visits, holiday parties, and social outings, our elders are reconnected to the community and other elders.
