Position Summary: This role is vital for juggling many of the details and day-to-day operations of a fast growing non- profit. There are opportunities to help keep the office running efficiently, ensure each department has necessary resources to be effective, and plan events and travel for the entire organization. Task management, organization, spreadsheets, planning, and communicating are key parts of this intern position. All interns help empower and mobilize volunteers at Hunger Projects across the United States. Hunger Projects are large, high-energy events, where hundreds to thousands of volunteers assemble healthy meals for hungry children. Responsibilities: First and foremost, empowering, mobilizing, and connecting with PEOPLE. Scheduling/Booking Travel for Hunger Projects across the US Coordinating all Domestic Meal Distribution Tracking Hunger Project Specifics & Details Supporting all Staff/Intern Event Teams Creating Itineraries for all Hunger Projects Leading Hunger Projects You’ll Thrive in this Position if: You Don’t Miss a Beat: Extremely Attentive to Detail, Accurate, and Thorough You’re Computer Savvy: Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word You Always Cross your T’s & Dot your I’s: Excellent Administrative Skills
