Wagon

The Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake supports families facing childhood illness and hospitalization. Be a behind the scenes hero and join us each week picking up donations, delivering supplies and assisting with stocking our family spaces with food and other essentials. This role will keep you moving, driving, walking, lifting, loading and unloading! Perfect for someone who likes to drive, and have a tangible and hands-on part of our programs. Every moment you spend moving things to where they are needed, is another moment a parent can spend with their hospitalized child. Use our vehicle or your own.

We would love to have you join our team.

Mission Statement

Built with love, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake offers a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
