Help enrich the preschool experience for kids in Head Start. Head Start is a comprehensive preschool program providing transportation to many of our families. We currently have opportunities for adult volunteers to become Bus Monitors. By becoming a Bus Monitor, you'll have the opportunity to extend learning time for children on the bus. Read them a story! Sing silly songs! Play games! Most importantly, you'll be able to ensure that the young children in our Head Start program make it safely home on the bus.

Description
CPCD is committed to the comprehensive early childhood development model, which is at the basis of its successful Head Start and Early Head Start programs. CPCD serves just under 2,000 prenatal through five-year-old at-risk, low-income and special needs children and their families. We operate classrooms in six school districts. Our two generation approach provides parents with education, services and training to help them be their child's first and best teacher. Community volunteers 12 and older join us year round to change the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.
