This volunteer position encompasses cleaning, feeding, and socializing with the guinea pigs in our care. Your daily tasks may include but not limited to: cleaning cages, grooming, feeding, socializing, and introducing new piggies to other piggies. Typically this requires 1-2 hours per volunteer shift.
This is one of most important and invaluable positions in our volunteer program and gives our staff more free time to research grant money and provide more help for the guinea pigs in need in your community.
We prefer our volunteers to be older than 12 years of age but exceptions can be made based on maturity of volunteer.

Crazy Cavies Guinea Pig Rescue Inc. was founded on March 18, 2008 in the state of Florida. We are a registered non-profit charitable organization in the State of Florida and also a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization registered with the IRS. Crazy Cavies Guinea Pig Rescue educates the public about guinea pigs, provides a temporary safe haven for abandoned guinea pigs, and finds quality forever homes for guinea pigs. We partner with other organizations to stop the unnecessary euthanasia of guinea pigs.
