Non-profit totally dependent on fundraising, donations, and occasional grants. Always need HANDS-ON LOCAL HELP. Most immediate need in summer is volunteers for fundraising dog washes in Little Rock area. Those who want to work with shelter animals must satisfactorily take an orientation class. Fundraisers and dog wash volunteers are always welcome without special training. : )

Mission Statement

The mission of HSPC is to rescue, rehabilitate, provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, and find loving homes for rescued or abused dogs, cats, and horses.


Operates a "no-kill" private shelter in Little Rock, Arkansas. Supported soley by donations, fundraisers and grants, operated and led by unpaid volunteers.
