Volunteer with the
Boston Landmarks Orchestra!
Each summer, Volunteer Staff help us bring great music for free to the city of Boston.
Volunteers serve as:
Ushers:
distribute programs and help count the number of concert attendees
Surveyors:
conduct surveys to determine who attends our concerts
Ambassadors:
assist people with disabilities and older adults as they arrive and depart
Runners:
help at our Information Tent with chair rentals and other tasks as needed
Anyone over the age of 14 may volunteer.
Our 2018 Concert Season:
- July 11th - Season's Tune Up
- Family fun pre-season event!
- July 18th - Opening Night
- The Planets
- July 25th - Boston University Tanglewood Institute
- August 1st - Verdi Requiem
- August 8th - Longwood Symphony Orchestra
- August 15th - Sounds of the Sea
- August 22nd - Symphonic Dances
- August 29th - Mercury Orchestra
All concerts are on Wednesday evenings at the D.C.R.’s Hatch Memorial Shell
Volunteers arrive at: 5:30-6pm, Concerts: 7 to 9pm

Description
Every Wednesday evenings, during the summer, we provide free music performances at a famous local landmark in Boston, the DCR's Hatch Shell on the Esplanade. Each performance has a theme and each week thousands of people from communities near and far attend these outdoor family-friendly events.
