If you enjoy playing and having fun with kids outdoors, this may be the opportunity for you. This is also a great opportunity for families with young kids to volunteer!
Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) is looking for volunteers to assist with our summer meals program weekdays at our seven meal sites in the North Seattle and Shoreline. We are in need of volunteers to help run fun activities at our meals sites. Activities could include sports, games, arts & crafts, reading, music, dance, and more.
When? The sites are open every Monday through Friday between 11:45 to about 2 pm. Volunteers who can commit to once a week are appreciated but we can also use volunteers that are available more sporadically.
Why? It's fun! With less than a 2-hour commitment per day, you can provide fun, enriching activities while also making sure no kid goes hungry this summer.
