Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio is excited to announce that we have been selected as the organization of choice for the BIA Parade of Homes again this year. This is a great honor and will result in a significant contribution to our mission. As the organization of choice, we are helping to provide volunteers for this event to assist as greeters, tour guides, and Habitat representatives during the Parade. We are in need of over 700 volunteers throughout the 16 day event. We are in need of friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable volunteers who are willing to stand for the entirety of the shift. All shifts will be in air conditioning, but depending on the amount of people in the house, it may still be somewhat warm.

Description
Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), and the Central Ohio Affiliate, is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat affiliates work locally in communities around the world to select and support homeowners, organize volunteers, and coordinate house building.
Supporting Habitat for Humanity - MidOhio is Habitat’s ReStore, a retail outlet that accepts and re-sells reusable home improvement materials to the general public. Revenue from sales directly offsets Habitat’s administrative costs and assists in both eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership in Central Ohio.
