Coding Can Be Fun!

Do you believe that technology can be fun? We are looking for technical mentors with a passion for sharing what they know and who love working with kids. We need individuals with knowledge in technology and programming including Scratch, Python, web development (HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP), Java, mobile apps, game development, arduino, and raspberry pi who want to help the next generation develop the technical skills they need in the 21st century.

We operate in the TriValley area at locations in Dublin & Pleasanton. It's rewarding to help kids create and provides you with a great networking opportunity with other technical professionals!

Description

We are a free club that provides free and open learning opportunities to kids ages 5-17 in technology, especially programming. We
are part of a global movement of CoderDojos around the world. We are hosted by the City of Dublin and the Dublin Library.

We're looking for volunteers who want to have an impact in building and growing future generations and who enjoy working with technology. We need committed individuals who want to become involved in helping to organize events and grow our club so that we can continue helping kids achieve amazing things!

In supporting these activities we also want to support and provide role models for helping to develop more females in STEM fields.
