Leaders In Training provide major assistance during our summer science day camp by facilitating activities, supervising campers, and helping prepare camp materials. This youth volunteer program combines leadership development and science education into one exceptional experience! Selected participants will develop their leadership abilities, responsibility, independent decision-making, communication skills and scientific knowledge.

Those accepted must attend a week-long leadership training camp in June, followed by two full-time weeks of practical volunteer experience in the summer, plus an additional 10 hours during the school year at special events. LITs typically volunteer for future summers as well.

Age Requirement: Applicants must be entering 8th-12th grade in Fall 2022
