We are always on the lookout for fun loving, motivated, exciting individuals, who would share our passion to help and serve others in need in our North Clark County area. Does this sound like you? We would welcome you to your new extended family, surrounding you with other caring individuals.
Every day we are able to come together, work hard, and send individuals as well as families home with a smile and a laugh, knowing that we care for them. More importantly, we go home each night with a smile in our hearts knowing we've made a difference in others lives.
North County Community Food Bank has been in operation since the 1980's, developing a large community support network. The Food Bank is well respected by local businesses, private individuals, board members and our donors for all that we do. In addition to providing emergency food supplies, NCCFoodBank partners with other agencies to offer a wide variety of educational programming for our clients, young and old. We offer Healthy Cooking, Celebrity Chef's and Kids in the Kitchen Summer Camp, Seed to Supper Series, a six week course that teaches our clients how to plant, grow, cook and preserve their own fresh produce. We also partner with iQ Credit Union to offer Family Financial offering financial strength for the family, and wit Partners in Careers to provide basic job skills for those trying to get back into the workforce.
We are looking for individuals who are energetic, motivated, and have a true passion to serve others and make a difference in peoples lives. Come join us!

Description
The North County Community Food Bank is involved with distributing emergency food supplies to low income families. We assist clients providing one food box per month. Tasks include stocking and inventory, rotation, preparation of food boxes, freezer boxes, produce bags, dairy bags, repackaging bulk grains and pastas, cleaning, donation pickups from area businesses and private citizens throughout the area.
Fundraising activities are coordinated throughout the year to help with the organization's major expense purchasing food supplies. Grants, estate gifts and donations are accepted.
The NCCFoodBank is focused on finding a larger building or property on which a new facility can be established. This facility would provide onsite space to hold the educational programming currently offered as well as additional classes being offered evenings and weekends. Topics addressed for our clients includes: financial planning and management, budgeting, resume writing, job skills, interviewing and many other life skills topics. In addition, the organization partners with the others to offer courses in which our clients can learn how to cook healthier meals, stretch their grocery dollars, plan their weekly menus, grow their own fresh produce, and much more.
