One of the most difficult aspects of dealing with terminal illness for a patient is having to give up their beloved pets when they no longer have the ability to care for them.
We know how powerful pet therapy can be and how much joy it can add to our patients lives which is why we would love to hear from you if you would love to join our caring compassionate hospice team.
We do require that pet therapy dogs are certified and up to date with all vaccinations etc. And we provide full orientation and training for owners! Patients are located both in private homes and in facilities throughout Hampton Roads.
