We need volunteers with some computer skills to work in Client Intake. You will get to know our clients and their needs. Checking them in, entering new clients in to the data system.

You are their First Contact with the new "Client Choice" programs available.

Volunteer hours are: Mon and Fri mornings 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Tues evenings 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Mission Statement

Brazoria County Dream Center (BCDC) is a non-profit community outreach center dedicated to helping children and adults in Brazoria County who are experiencing hardships. We address both the physical and emotional needs of our constituents. We accomplish this by focusing on: rebuilding hope, renewing lives and restoring dreams.

Description

The Brazoria County Dream Center (BCDC) community outreach center (A HUB) dedicated to helping children and adults in Brazoria County who are experiencing hardships. The BCDC has 5 programs; Dream Pantry (with a subprogram Fit 4 Families Food Market), Backpack Buddies (with a subprogram of Summer Backpack Buddies and Fit 4 Families Food Markets), Back 2 School Bash (subprogram Classroom Buddies), Dream Gifts, Disaster & Crisis Recovery, Back 2 Basic Workshops. Our other services such as a universal referral system. Within our facilities are the Community Health Network (Medical and Behaviour Health) and River of Hope (Rent & Utlities Assistance).
