This is the posting for potential volunteers interested in volunteering for the Fight for Air Climb Event Day. The Fight for Air CLIMB officially begins at 8:00am and should end around 12:30 depending on the last climber. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

Event positions available can include:

Registration, DJ Assistant, CLIMB Announcements, Street Monitors, Trash, Games, Timing Company Liaison, Awards/ Beat My Time Table, Memory Banner, Parking Garage, Distributing Metals and Water, Directing People to Elevator, and Cheering Climbers On.

The event is broken down into 4 shifts: Set up 4:30am-7:30am, Registration & Event 6:30am-9:30am, Break down 9:30am-12:30pm, and All day 4:30am-12:30pm.You must stay for your entire shift. If you would like to stay longer you are more than welcome to. If you must leave early or cannot attend the event please let us know in advance.

Volunteer FAQ

1.Can I request where I want to be placed?

Yes, you can request but it’s not guaranteed. We place volunteers on a first come first serve basis.

2.Is registration free for volunteers?

Yes, registration is free for all volunteers but you still have the opportunity to raise funds with no obligations.

3.Will I get a break if I sign up for the entire day?

Yes, please communicate with the head volunteers and make sure your position is covered before you are relived.

4.Will this count towards my community service hours?

Yes, please bring any forms you need signed.

5.Can I volunteer with a group?

Yes, the more the merrier! Each volunteer must register online at ClimbTampa.org

6.Do I need any prior experience?

No experience is necessary just come willing and ready to help. If you do have prior experience in volunteering please let us know once we get in contact with you.
