At The Lydia Project, women coping with cancer are not alone
Living with uncertainty is a great challenge for women faced with a cancer diagnosis. You can make a difference. Lodging Volunteers visit with lodging guests; maintaining a helping presence in the lodging area. Office Volunteers assist in the office; Outreach Volunteers write encouraging notes from home, make calls from the agency, or make visits to Augusta/Aiken area hospitals. Prayer Volunteers pray at the agency Thursday mornings; Sewer Volunteers monogram and/or sew Lydia totes from home (all materials provided). Event Volunteers help at area events and with fundraisers.
