Dish It Up Congregate Meals Volunteers at Davis Co. Senior Activity Centers are needed to assist with serving the lunch meal provided to senior citizens. Each meal meets 1/3 of the daily nutritional needs for each participant. Attendance at the meal sites provides social interaction, enhancing individual wellbeing. Meals are provided Monday through Friday. You may sign up for as many or as few days and times as you like. There are opportunities to choose from throughout Davis County. Successful volunteer candidates must acquire a food handler’s permit and pass a drug and background screening.

Description
The Davis County Health Department's Senior Services Programs provide a variety of services to the growing population of senior citizens throughout the county. From the senior activity centers, to case management of health-related needs, to providing meals to eligible seniors, the staff of the Davis County Health Department's Senior Services Programs diligently works to maintain and improve the quality of life for its clients.
