Norfolk County RSVP Volunteer Program is part of the national Senior Corps, sponsored locally by the Norfolk County Commissioners.

Volunteers age 55+ are needed to donate your time in one of four positions to support hospitalized Veterans and their families: Become trained in the MyHealthEVet portal and assist vets with appointment and online information. Visit hospitalized Veterans, providing kind and caring companionship. Drive a van donated by DAV to get ambulatory Veterans to their medical appointments at the VA Brockton campus. Requires a valid MA driver's license, background check, and VA physical. The Fisher House provides free overnight stays to visiting caregivers and loved ones while a Veteran is at the VA Hospital. Hospitality volunteers provide light housekeeping, some baking, and a friendly presence for guests.

PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer opportunity is available only to adults age 55 and older.
