IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE:Valley Village has temporarily suspended volunteer activities due to the COVID-19 outbreak for the safety of our program participants, our staff and our volunteers. We continue to monitor the situation while acting according to CDC, state and local guidelines.
Make your Saturdays matter! Volunteer for our monthly outstanding Recreation Program at Valley Village, where adults with developmental challenges thrive. Participate in day trips to various LA museums and parks, interactive activities, holiday celebrations and other special events once a month on a Saturday, usually between 10:30 am and 2 pm. Assist clients getting around in wheelchairs, help clients with intellectual disabilities on scavenger hunts through museums or other areas, and/or create arts and crafts with clients. Interviews available by appointment weekdays and Saturdays.
