You will work with high school students in small groups (4-7 students). Students bring questions they are confused about to their tutorial group. The tutor facilitates the group of students in a Socratic Tutorial. Students learn not only the answer to the problem, but critical thinking and problem solving steps. Training is provided in this highly effective method. Have the satisfaction of helping a teenager develop college and career readiness skills.
Upcoming training dates beginning in September and running through February. Begin working with students in Fall 2017. Make a difference in just 1-2 hours a week! All tutoring times are during the school day, between 8 AM and 4 PM.
