Are you looking to make a difference? Well here's your opportunity.
GNOFHAC is looking for people to help investigate acts of housing discrimination. Investigators must: 1. Have excellent writing skills, 2. Have reliable tranportation, and 3. Have no felony convictions or crimes of moral tupitude (i.e. theft, fraud).
A small stipend is available to help compensate investigators for their work and travel. A training class and criminal background check are required.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

The Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center (GNOFHAC) is a private, non-profit civil rights organization dedicated to eradicating housing discrimination throughout the greater New Orleans area through education, investigation and enforcement activities. GNOFHAC promotes fair competition throughout the housing marketplace- rental, sales, lending and insurance.
GNOFHAC is dedicated to fighting housing discrimination not only because it is illegal, but also because it is a divisive force that perpetuates poverty, segregation, ignorance, fear and hatred.
